Turquoise Crystal Mala Bead Necklace

Malas are meditation beads or prayer beads that are ancient tools developed to keep the mind focused and clear from thoughts during meditation. A mala necklace or bracelet is a simple string of beads used in meditation to count mantras, prayers, or intentions. It can also be used to count breaths or used in a gratitude meditation. A full mala necklace or bracelet contains 108 counting beads plus one guru or meru bead. The guru (teacher) or meru (mountain) bead is often larger than the other counting mantra beads and it provides a starting and ending point for counting the repetitions of the mantra.

Each Mala Bead Necklace is approximately 70cm long (excluding guru bead and tassel) with a drop of approximately 40 - 45cm. The 108 counting beads are 6mm each. This Mala Bead Necklace is elasticized and can be used as a mala bead wrist bracelet if desired. All stones are cleansed and infused with Usui Reiki light prior to delivery. Crystals are naturally grown and the colours, shapes, sizes and weight of each stone may vary slightly to those pictured.
